MIDTOWN, Manhattan (KLTV) - New York Jets cornerback and former Gilmer Buckeye, Kris Boyd, is in critical condition after being shot Sunday.
According to WABC, Boyd was found by police on a Manhattan street sometime around 2 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was taken to hospital where he’s currently listed in critical condition.
No one has been arrested but according to WABC, police are looking for a man who fled the scene.
The New York Jets issued a statement following the shooting: “We are aware of the situation involving Kris Boyd and will have no further comment at this time.”
