ST PAUL, Minn. — St. Paul Mayor-elect Kaohly Her stopped by KARE 11 to talk about her historic victory and outline her goals as she prepares to take office, touching on issues including downtown revitalization, affordable housing and an urban wealth fund.
Her said the two weeks since the election have moved quickly, with transition work beginning immediately. She recently submitted her letter of resignation from the Minnesota House of Representatives, where she has served since 2019. She will officially resign on Monday before assuming her role as St. Paul mayor in January.
