A "phenomenal" crime thriller that's just landed on Netflix is captivating viewers within the first 10 minutes of watching.

Absentia originally aired on Prime Video but has now secured a spot on a different streaming platform. Shortly after its arrival on the service, it has already climbed into the viewing charts.

Currently, it sits as the fifth most-watched programme amongst UK subscribers at the time of writing. This represents quite an achievement for a programme that initially aired between 2017 and 2020, particularly when facing competition from several major new releases including The Beast In Me, reports the Mirror .
