MUNCIE, Ind. — Award-winning actor Hugh Jackson stopped by the Delaware County Sheriff's Department Friday, Nov. 14 to pay his respects to fallen Delaware County Sheriff's Office Cpl. Blake Reynolds .
Reynolds, 31, was struck and killed on Interstate 69 Wednesday, Nov. 12 as he assisted a semi-truck driver that was stopped partially in the roadway. A second semi struck the deputy, and he later died from his injuries at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
The Delaware County Sheriff's Department has a patrol car, piled high with a plethora of flowers, parked outside of its office to memorialize Reynolds.
Rick Snyder, president of the Indianapolis branch of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), posted photos on X , formerly known as Twitter, that showed Jackman at the memorial.
