( NewsNation ) — Republican Rep. Marjorie Tayor Greene of Georgia is apologizing for taking part in what she calls “toxic politics” amid a feud with President Donald Trump.

In an interview on CNN on Sunday, Greene said the feud is something that is “very bad for our country,” and said she wants to see people being kinder to one another.

“It’s been something I’ve thought about a lot, especially since Charlie Kirk was assassinated. I’m only responsible for myself and my own words and actions, and I’m committed—and I’ve been working on this a lot lately—to put down the knives in politics,” Greene said.
