A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. for heavy snow until 4:15 p.m. for Northern Centre, Southern Centre and Southern Clinton as well as Clearfield and Mifflin counties.
"At 3:29 p.m., a band of heavy snow was located along a line extending from 10 miles southwest of Lock Haven to near Bellefonte to near Clearfield. Visibility may be rapidly reduced to below 1 mile. Movement was southeast at 35 mph," says the weather service.
Locations impacted by the alert include State College, Bellefonte, Park Forest Village, Boalsburg, Pleasant Gap, Lamar, Stormstown, Lemont, Zion, Houserville, Pine Grove Mills, Milroy, Centre Hall, Milesburg, Millheim, Snow Shoe, North Philipsburg, Clarence, Aaronsburg and Port Matilda.
