KARACHI:
The schedule for the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11 has become a major issue, as franchises are demanding a significant increase in the number of matches following the inclusion of two new teams, while the PCB is reluctant due to the limited available window.
According to details, the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League would be held next year in April and May.
The PCB has started the process of selling the two new franchises, but consensus has not yet been reached on the total number of matches. Initially, 44 to 60 matches have been proposed.
Franchises want more matches to increase revenue, suggesting that each team should play at least 14 matches in the first round.
However, PCB officials argue that due to the limited window, this will not be feasible.
