STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Some residents at the New York City Housing Authority’s Todt Hill Houses development say they’ve been without water since Friday.

On Sunday, Nov. 16, The Advance/SILive.com received reports that water had been out at the Todt Hill Houses going back to Friday, Nov. 14.

According to the tipster, who asked that their name not be used out of fear of retribution, the water at 176 Schmidts Lane turned off suddenly on Friday with no notification.

On Saturday morning, the tipster says that residents were notified that a pipe had broken, and an automated message claimed the issue would be fixed that night.
