LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Fire Department responded to a barn fire early this afternoon. Officials say crews were called to Harp Innis Road around 1:50 p.m. for a reported structure fire.
When firefighters arrived, they found a barn fully involved and worked to bring the flames under control. No injuries were reported, and the Lexington Fire Department confirmed there were no animals or equipment inside the structure.
A brush truck was also dispatched to extinguish several spot fires that developed in nearby fields downwind from the barn.
