VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — A 14-year-old was killed in a high-speed crash on Orchard Road in northern Vanderburgh County.
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office reported that the crash occurred at 2:28 p.m., involving a single vehicle with five occupants. Emergency responders, including the McCutchanville Fire Department and AMR, arrived at the 1900 block of Orchard Road to find the teenager critically injured after being ejected from the vehicle.
The teenage driver and three other passengers sustained minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals. The 14-year-old was later pronounced dead.
Sheriff Noah Robinson said accident reconstructionists and detectives are investigating the incident. A deputy trained as a Drug Recognition Expert evaluated the driver, and although drugs
