ANGOLA, Ind. — A high school teacher in northeastern Indiana is behind bars after police say two students ate a THC edible she had left out in the open in the classroom.
According to the Steuben County Sheriff's Office , in the morning hours of Nov. 14, the school resource officer at Angola High School was informed that two students had reportedly consumed THC the previous afternoon during the last class period of the day.
After sheriff's deputies were called into investigate, they learned the two students were in class at the time and reportedly were unaware that the candy they ate contained THC. The investigation showed the candy was reportedly left in the classroom out in the open.
Police eventually learned the THC candy was brought into the classroom by a 49-year-old teacher from
