INDIANAPOLIS — An owl was rescued Friday thanks to the teamwork of two IMPD officers.

According to a Facebook post from IMPD Northwest District , on Nov. 14, an IMPD detective saw an injured owl on the interstate and stopped to help. Another officer joined the detective and the two safely scooped up and rescued the owl.

Police say the owl was taken to Paws, Wings, & Other Things Wildlife Rescue as it heals from its injury.
