Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson is out for the rest of the game vs. the Detroit Lions Sunday night with a foot injury.
Johnson headed into the locker room at the end of the first quarter and didn't return. Backup tackle Fred Johnson replaced him after he left the game. The Eagles beat Detroit, 16-9, with another impressive defensive performance.
Johnson exited last week's win over the Green Bay Packers with an ankle injury, but he returned in the fourth quarter.
Johnson, a two-time First Team All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler, practiced all week leading up to the big NFC matchup against Detroit. He was limited on Wednesday and a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. He didn't have an injury designation before the game.
