CINCINNATI —
The Cincinnati Fire Department says that one person is dead after a brush fire occurred behind a house in Clifton.

According to CFD, firefighters received a call at approximately 7:49 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a fire behind a detached garage at the home.
Upon further investigation, first responders found that some of the brushes on the property had caught fire.
However, as firefighters were working to put out the fire, they made the discovery of a deceased individual who was located nearby that had suffered from "significant" burns.
