A man was arrested Sunday night in connection to a double homicide in Pasadena , Anne Arundel County Police said.

Anthony Louis Reyes 61, of Nottingham, was taken into custody after a traffic stop that ended in a chase on I-97, police said. He will be charged with two counts of first-degree murder, police said.

Earlier Sunday, police received a 911 call from the home for the report of a shooting around 1:55 p.m. Officers responded to the 1700 block of Twickenham Road and found a man and a woman dead inside a residence in the Long Point community. Both suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.

Reyes was pulled over in the 1600 block of Bluestone Street in Hanover around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Police said he led officers on a chase that ended on I-97
