WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police are investigating a shooting that left a 21-year-old man injured Sunday night.

Officers responded around 9:23 p.m. to the 3600 block of Cedar Springs Drive, where they found Phillip Delane Lucas suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.

Lucas was taken to a local hospital, and his injuries are considered non-life-threatening, police said.

The investigation is ongoing. WSPD says additional details will be released as they are confirmed.
