GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro Police are investigating a homicide that happened on Upland Drive on Sunday evening.

According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers responded to the 1500 block of Upland Drive at approximately 7:48 p.m. on Sunday and found a man shot in the head.

The victim was taken to a local hospital by EMS with life threatening injuries, police said.

Joaquin Gabriel Hernandez, 27, died of his injuries in the hospital on Sunday night.

No suspect information is available, according to police.
