RALEIGH, N.C. — A man who pleaded guilty in connection with the death of an 11-year-old girl at the 2022 Raleigh Christmas Parade has been sentenced to serve more than 260 days in confinement, according to reporting from WNCN (CBS 17).

A Wake County judge sentenced Landen Glass on Monday to a total of 262 days behind bars. Glass previously pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice, death by motor vehicle, and having a dangerous weapon at a parade.

According to WNCN, the judge ordered Glass to serve two consecutive active misdemeanor sentences: 75 days for death by motor vehicle and 45 days for carrying a dangerous weapon at a parade.

Glass will also serve a suspended sentence for the obstruction of justice charge — a minimum of 8 months and a maximum of 19 months — along with 36 months
