GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was arrested for kidnapping in Greensboro on Friday, Nov. 15, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
On Nov. 11, police responded to a possible domestic dispute on Tipton Court , where they said they found a women who needed help escaping from a home.
GPD said they were able to help her escape safely.
On Nov. 13, police responded to the same location with a search warrant for the suspect, but he was not there.
Finally, Tony Lee Austin, 62, was arrested on Nov. 15, according to police.
Austin was charged with kidnapping, resist, delay, and obstruct a public officer, speeding to elude arrest, and driving while license was suspended or revoked.
Court documents said Austin held the victim against her will and in involuntary servitude.
