Detectives have issued a major update in the investigation into the death of young man who was last seen leaving work in Warwickshire . Both Leicestershire and Warwickshire Police launched a search for Max Walsh.
The 21-year-old was last seen was leaving his work in Dordon in North Warwickshire, on Thursday, November 13. On Friday his car was found near Ashby Canal around a mile south of Snarestone, Leicestershire.
Leicestershire Police confirmed a body was found in woods nearby as part a search of the area. "While formal identification is yet to take place, it is believed to be that of Max," it said.
A 66-year-old was arrested in connection with the death but police did not confirm what he had been arrested on suspicion of. He was later released on police bail.
