Saoirse Ronan and Ewan McGregor were among those honoured at the Scottish BAFTAs last night, Sunday, November 16. Edith Bowman hosted the glitzy awards bash in Glasgow, where stars of the big and small screen scooped gongs for their excellent work. ‌

Svereal productions ended the night with two awards, while the team behind a long-running reality show also took home a top honour. Stars including McGregor, David Tennant, and Alan Cumming attended the event. ‌

Doctor Who legend Tennant - who was nominated for Actor Film/Television for his role in Rivals, based on the book by the late Dame Jilly Cooper - praised the awards and the talent of those north of the border. ‌
