JONESVILLE, Mich. (WILX) - Kids often have big imaginations, and one Mid-Michigan child is putting hers to work in a unique way by creating her own stories.
Jaysa Crosby has co-written four children’s books with her mom, each one offering a meaningful lesson for young readers. All of the stories center on a witch with magical powers.
“You get to make them up. And it’s not what other people think you should do, it’s what you want to do yourself,” said Jaysa.
“It’s actually pretty cool, though, to watch her imagination grow. And it also makes her more confident and stuff like that,” said Danielle Crosby, Jaysa’s mom.
Danielle said her daughter has been telling stories since she could talk.
