A woman reported being assaulted by a man at 4:53 p.m. Oct. 27 when she went to her former apartment to retrieve personal items. The woman told police she and the man began arguing and he pushed her and possibly slapped her. The woman reported had visible injuries on her face. She initially declined pressing charges, but later told police she wished to. The man reportedly admitted to pushing the woman out the apartment door, but denied striking her. He told police security camera footage would show his side of the story. The case was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.
