Patna (Bihar): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has been elected as the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
Yadav, who once again won from the Raghopur constituency, has taken charge as LoP for the second time after the Mahagathbandhan’s poor performance in the recent Assembly election, where the alliance secured only 35 seats, including 25 won by the RJD.
The decision to name Tejashwi as LoP comes at a time when the RJD is facing internal turbulence. His sister, Rohini Acharya, has accused him of humiliating her and “throwing her out of the house.” Speaking to reporters, she alleged that family members, including Tejashwi, mistreated her.
In an emotional post on X, Rohini claimed she was “humiliated,” “abused,” and even threatened. She wrote that
