RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, on Monday, was elected as the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly at a meeting of the party's newly elected MLAs in Patna.
Following the meeting, party leader Shakti Singh Yadav claimed that the resounding victory of the NDA came from "machinery management."
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) managed to win only 25 of the 143 seats it contested. The INDIA bloc faced a crushing defeat at the hands of the NDA, which managed to secure 202 seats in the 243-member assembly.
Shakti Singh Yadav claimed that a 90 per cent strike rate is not possible for any political party in the world.
