Protein supplements are concentrated extracts used for bodybuilding or to meet protein requirements through a “lean” source of proteins and amino acids.
Medical-grade powders, typically manufactured by pharmaceutical companies, are formulated for patients with specific clinical needs such as malnutrition, diabetes, post-surgical recovery or chronic illness.
