A patient has been taken to hospital following an 'incident' at a school in Yarm . Emergency services were called to Conyers School and Sixth Form College, off Green Lane, on Monday morning, November 17.

One person has been taken to the University Hospital of North Tees by ambulance, it has been confirmed. Further details about the incident have not been released at this time.

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to an incident at a school in Yarm this morning (17 November) at 11.09am. We dispatched one ambulance crew and one patient was taken to University Hospital of North Tees ."

Cleveland Police has confirmed officers were not called to the school. The school has declined to comment on the incident.
