The US Government has several Indian-American people appointed in several senior posts, including FBI Director Kash Patel, and yet anti-Indian sentiments continue to run among the population.

Last month, Kash Patel wished his followers on X on the occasion of Diwali. Following this, far-right Christian nationalist and white nationalist accounts slammed his post. “Go back home and worship your sand demons," a far-right pastor wrote. “Get the f**k out of my country," read another reply. Another said: “This is America. We don’t do this."
