A house in Orwigsburg that sold for $635,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Schuylkill County in the past week.

The county saw a total of 62 residential real estate sales during the past week, averaging $168,948, or $114 per square foot.

The prices in the list below include real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Nov. 10 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $285K, single-family residence at 263 Forest Road

The single-family house at 263 Forest Road in Pottsville has new owners. The price was $285,000. The house was built in 1980 and has a living area of 1,600 square feet. The price per square foot was $178. The house features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The deal was finalized on Oct. 22.
