The Boston Bruins have been on a roll as of late, winning eight of their last nine games to shoot all the way to first place in the Atlantic Division. Making that run even more impressive is the fact that they have been without their top center, Elias Lindholm , for much of it due to an injury.

Lindholm suffered a lower-body injury in the Bruins’ 4-3 overtime victory over the Buffalo Sabres back on Oct. 30, and he hasn’t suited up for a game since then. Boston placed Lindholm on injured reserve shortly after, indicating that the team expected him to miss several games.

The Swedish star has been making progress in his quest to get back into the action, and he took a big step by taking the ice with the team for its morning skate on Monday. However, Lindholm was not part of the B’s rus
