Paddy Pimblett has outlined his plans to return to the UFC next year.
Pimblett and Ilia Topuria have been embroiled in a verbal back-and-forth since their feud began in 2022.
'The Baddy' is hoping that he can finally challenge Topuria, the UFC lightweight champion, but a decision over the current king's next move has yet to be made.
Although Islam Makhachev 's recent win at UFC 322 could disrupt that plan, should be open to a clash with his fellow champion next.
Pimblett has revealed he is simply waiting for the situation to be resolved, but has confirmed he will still return in early 2026.
On his YouTube channel, he explained: "Let's see what's happening now with Islam.
"Is Ilia gonna stick to his words and say he's going to move up, or is he going to stick to his other word
