Alabama (8-2, 6-1 SEC) enters the game looking for redemption following a 23-21 loss to Oklahoma last week. The Panthers (3-8, 2-6 OVC-Big South), an FCS program, have lost four of their last five games.
The Tide's offense, led by quarterback Ty Simpson, has been potent. Simpson has amassed 2,787 passing yards and 22 touchdowns with only two interceptions. In contrast, Eastern Illinois quarterback Connor Wolf has thrown for 1,054 yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions.
