The Game Awards announced its 2025 nominees Monday, in a livestream on YouTube.

Sandfall Interactive’s Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 led all games with 12 nominations, the most of any game in the award show’s decade-long history. Among other categories it was nominated for Game of the Year, alongside Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (Kojima Productions/Sony Interactive Entertainment), Donkey Kong Bananza (Nintendo EPD/Nintendo), Hades II (Supergiant Games), Hollow Knight: Silksong (Team Cherry), and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (Warhorse Studios/Deep Silver).
