The New York Jets will reportedly start veteran Tyrod Taylor over Justin Fields for their Week 12 game against the Baltimore Ravens, the Athletic 's Dianna Russini reported on Monday (November 17).
"The Jets are making a quarterback change, benching Justin Fields in favor of veteran Tyrod Taylor, per source. New York faces Baltimore in Week 12 and ranks last in the league in passing yards per game," Russini wrote on her X account.
Taylor was reported to be dealing with an injury last month when team owner Woody Johnson publicly criticized Fields during the NFL fall meeting in New York.
