BENTONVILLE -- Residents are being encouraged to call or email the city now to set up a time to have leaves picked up next month.

The city's annual fall leaf curbside pickup will run from Dec. 8-19, and scheduling will be done by calling (479) 254-2059 or by emailing [email protected] , according to a news release from the city. Crews will not collect bags that have not been scheduled through one of those means, but people should only schedule using one format, not both.

People should not call or email until bags are at the curb and ready to be picked up, the release states. The city asks that residents allow 24 to 48 hours for pickup.
