GREENVILLE, Wis. (WBAY) - Pilots with Allegiant Airlines are planning to picket nationwide on Tuesday, including at Appleton International Airport.
Over 1,400 pilots, represented by Teamsters Local 2118, are demanding an end to ongoing negotiation delays.
The union says the airline continues asking for concessions while investing in everything except their pilots.
The union says, “By failing to offer a fair contract, Allegiant is losing talented and experienced pilots to competitor airlines and jeopardizing local routes.”
Information picket won’t affect flights
According to a news release, this will be an informational picket that won’t interrupt operations and won’t impact flight schedules, staffing or service.
Pilots will come together to hold signs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
