INDIANAPOLIS — Allegiant Airlines pilots are hitting the picket line Tuesday at Indianapolis International Airport .
It's part of a nationwide demonstration demanding an end to contract negotiation delays.
More than 1,400 pilots across 22 airports — including Indianapolis — plan to protest beginning at 10 a.m.
The union representing the pilots says Allegiant is losing talented and experienced pilots to competitor airlines, putting flight routes at risk.
