OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) - A Howell man was shot and killed Sunday night outside a Commerce Township restaurant, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to Prime 7 restaurant around 9:30 p.m. on reports of gunfire during a Detroit Lions game watch party.

When they arrived, they found the victim, 44-year-old Francesk Shkambi, lying on the patio.

Deputies immediately began life-saving efforts until Commerce Township Fire Department paramedics arrived and transported him to a hospital, where he later died.

Roughly 20 minutes after the shooting, a 65-year-old Farmington Hills man turned himself in to authorities. The Fugitive Apprehension Team took him into custody without incident.
