One person was taken to a hospital after a Tweed New Haven Airport vehicle struck a tree on Monday morning.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Hall Street and Burr Street around 9:50 a.m., according to the New Haven Fire Department .

Fire officials said crews responded to the area on the report of an airport pickup truck striking a tree. One person received CPR at the scene and was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, according to officials. Their condition was not clear.

The crash left the intersection closed for hours.
