ANN ARBOR — Michigan coach Sherrone Moore, still wearing his work jacket, met with the media Monday at Schembechler Hall.
On the heels of a wild win over Northwestern and before Michigan’s trip to Maryland, Moore touched on both games.
Here are some of the highlights from his remarks.
How’s that for a kicker?
Michigan won in walk-off fashion on Wrigley Field on the strength of Dominic Zvada’s right foot. His 31-yard field goal as time expired gave Michigan a 24-22 win.
Before that kick, Zvada was 10 for 16 on the year in field goals, including 0 for 2 on Saturday. Earlier in the game he’d missed from 34 and 60.
Zvada still seemed confident and Moore had faith in his veteran kicker.
