CLARE COUNTY — Three people died Thursday night after a two-vehicle crash on M-115 near Harding Avenue.
According to a Nov. 127 news release from the Clare County Sheriff’s Office, deputies said Clare County Central Dispatch received a report around 9:11 p.m. of a collision involving a vehicle on fire. Surrey Township Fire Department crews extinguished the flames while deputies began investigating.
A black 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 20-year-old Detroit man was traveling westbound on M-115 with three passengers, including a 20-year-old man and two women, ages 19 and 21, all from Detroit.
Deputies said the Jeep crossed the center line into the eastbound lane and hit a white 2013 Buick Verano head-on. The Buick was driven by a 24-year-old Tecumseh man.
