OAK RIDGE, Tenn. — The Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management said a contractor at Oak Ridge National Lab processed 50 canisters of uranium-233 for shipment three months ahead of schedule.
The office of environmental management said Isotek Systems met the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management's 2025 priority, helping advance the clean-up project at the lab. In total, Isotek team members have processed 77 canisters of uranium-233 for shipment and disposal during the fiscal year.
