This was the moment two quick-thinking friends from Birmingham sprung into action to rescue a Land Rover submerged in dangerous flood water during Storm Claudia.
Daniel Smith, 37, and pal Daniel Mulqueen, 27, spotted the abandoned car stuck in overflowing river water in Hall Green's Green Road on Saturday night (November 15).
But with the driver's whereabouts unknown, the pair decided to return the following morning to rescue it.

The two Daniels, who have been friends for a decade, arrived in their own 4x4s which they used to drag the Land Rover out of the flood.
