SYLACAUGA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Sylacauga will soon be home to an outdoor ice skating rink.

The rink will open Nov. 30 in Central Park during Christmas in the Park and the Sylacauga Christmas Tree Lighting. Free skating will be offered from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. that day.

Here are the details:

Beginning Dec. 1: Monday-Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Closed Dec. 4 for the Sylacauga Christmas Parade

Saturday Hours: 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Sunday Hours: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission Monday-Saturday is $10 per skater, includes skate rental

Sunday admission is free

Rink closed Dec, 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.

Jan 2-Jan 4 normal hours

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are not required to skate but must sign the waiver on behalf of the child. Skates will be provided on-site
