California State Parks Peace Officer Lifeguard was walking his dog when he saw people struggling in the water

Following the tragic events that took place over the weekend that saw the death of a Calgary man and child , the off-duty California State Park Peace Officer who was first on the scene speaks about what transpired last Friday.

California State Parks Peace Officer Lifeguard Sean Nowland said California State Parks would like to offer their deepest condolences and sympathies for the families involved.
