LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Nearly seven years after a fatal shooting in the Parkland neighborhood, a Louisville man has been indicted.

A Jefferson County grand jury indicted Steven Shane Williams, 38, on Monday.

Williams was indicted on complicity to murder and complicity to first-degree robbery. He's also charged with being a persistent felony offender.

Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) said Williams' charges are related to a fatal shooting on Dec. 17, 2018.

At the time, police said a man's body was found between two vacant homes in the 2700 block of West Kentucky Street.

Williams was already in custody at LMDC on unrelated charges to the shooting investigation, LMPD added.

His bond has been set at $100,000.

Williams is expected back in court on Nov. 24 to be arraigned on his new charges.
