ELBA, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has announced a public information meeting on November 20 at the Whitewater State Park visitor's center.

The meeting will provide details about the Highway 74 culvert replacement project scheduled for next summer. MnDOT staff will be available from 4 to 6 p.m. to answer questions and gather public input. While there will be no formal presentation, a project website will be updated with meeting information for those unable to attend.

Construction is set to take place from July to November in 2026, replacing two culverts along Highway 74 within Whitewater State Park. Traffic detours will be necessary, but the work will be done in stages to maintain access to park sites.
