BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Idaho Secretary of State’s Office is investigating a report of a discrepancy between the number of ballots and voters in Elmore County.
The office stated on Monday that 300 ballots from the November 2025 Elmore County Consolidated Election were not tallied or included in the final results. The Elmore County Clerk’s Office notified them on Friday of the potential discrepancy.
“Needless to say, this situation is very concerning,” said Secretary of State Phil McGrane. “We are taking this matter seriously and will pursue every available path to ensure the will of the voters is accurately reflected in the results. Every vote matters, and we are committed to the accuracy and integrity of Idaho’s elections.”
