MACON, Ga. — Four people have been arrested and charged in connection to a shooting in the parking lot of a North Macon shopping center , according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office says Justin Epps, 21, and Aubrey Blash, Elijah Johnson, and Tyrese Haslem, all 18, have been arrested for firing shots near the parking lot of the Kroger on Tom Hill Senior Boulevard around 1:45 p.m. on Monday.
Per Sgt. Christopher Williams, deputies saw multiple people filing out of a blue SUV with backpacks. Two of the suspects were arrested shortly after they left the SUV, while the other two were arrested sometime after a search.
The sheriff's office said the Kroger was initially evacuated as a safety precaution, but has since been reopened. Kroger issued a
