New Delhi, Nov 18: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman chaired the fourth round of pre-Budget consultations in New Delhi on November 18, 2023, with capital market stakeholders to discuss their expectations and concerns for the Union Budget 2026–27.

Present at the meeting were Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary, the Secretary of the Department of Economic Affairs, and the Chief Economic Adviser.

This round is part of a series of meetings planned with various industries, including sessions focused on startups, banking, IT, hospitality, and infrastructure, concluding with social sector representatives on November 26. Prior consultations included discussions with leading economists and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
